Let’s make JOSEPH KONY Famous!!

Who is JOSEPH KONY?

He is THE WORST LIVING CRIMINAL. He abducts children and makes them use guns to kill their own parents. He takes girls and forces them to be sex slaves. He calls his abducted children the Lord’s Resistance Army, AKA the LRA. He has abducted over 30,000 children and forced them to be child soldiers in Central Africa. He remains at large because he is INVISIBLE to the world. FEW know his name, even FEWER know his crimes. WE ARE MAKING HIM FAMOUS! Because when he is, the world will unite against him and demand his arrest.

We can help make a change. We can make a difference.

I feel so inspired. I feel the need to help and make a difference. This has to happen in 2012. We can’t let him go around and keep doing this to children in Central Africa. Let’s make his name known so he can be stopped. HE CAN NO LONGER BE INVISIBLE!

I tend to take this latest development as a kind of eager confirmation that they are still apparently dependent on ideas that I had 25 years ago.

A reminder of who I am, where I’ve been and what I plan to do.

I find myself always getting wrapped up in things and overwhelmed it becomes very hard to keep track of myself and how I portray myself to others.

This is not a list of what I’ve done wrong, at this point in my life I have moved beyond the insignificant dark things I’ve done and I need to celebrate what I have accomplished and cultivate what I have yet to accomplish. So here’s the list:

I got in to college a year early.

I left college to pursue my dream of playing in a band and in that time I:

      - Wrote a library of over 30 songs and am still writing.

      - Managed and booked a four person unit for two years successfully.

      - Booked and played all over the country on a national tour and broke even.

      - Recorded at least three albums with extremely talented people and had          the time of my life creating with different groups.

      - Had my song on the radio multiple times.

      - Have an album on Itunes.

      - Gained fans not only from my city, but on a national level.

      - Had people sing my words back to me.

      - Wrote songs that mean something to people and have helped others.

      - Inspired others to pursue what they love.

      - Played in countless venues across the country.

I have lived in Three different parts of the country, Florida, California and New York.

I’ve partied in Mexico until I blacked out.

I have been a waiter, a busboy, a chimney sweep, a television technician, a casino attendant, a babysitter, a baker, a repairman, a mentor, an event planner, a bass player, a singer, an actor, a photographer, a guitarist, a front man, a student and even played on my highschool football team for a time.

I have completed two degrees and in March will become a Master Mason.

I’ve been to the Hollywood Sign and looked out over the city of Los Angeles and felt unstoppable.

And when it comes down to it I have done a lot and I need to remember that when others forget who I am, take jabs at what I do and when I forget who I want to be.

Whats next for me? I’m not sure, but I’m going to be working towards:

Getting a degree in teaching and music.

Directing, Writing and acting in multiple films.

Making music videos.

Writing comics.

Making more music.

Traveling the world.

Making my own beer.

Learning how to garden.

Learning how to record and produce music well on my own.

Getting around to writing that masterpiece.

And above all to continue connecting with others and to live life as happily as possible.

Goodnight.

I hope you were good this year. If not, Krampus will come and terrorize you. I like to think that Krampus is with us all December long.

Krampus, A Christmas Legend

Krampus Day is associated with Christmas and is a part of Hungarian and Austrian folklore. “Krampus” is from the Germanic word “krampen” which means “claw.” According to legend, Krampus is a demon who travels with St. Nicholas on Christmas Eve, and while Santa delivers presents to the good little children, the cruel Krampus terrorizes bad children with his fearsome presence. Illustrations of Krampus often depict him with a basket on his back (presumably to haul naughty children back to his lair), and a willow branch for swatting.

December 5th is Krampus Day throughout much of Europe, and on the days surrounding Krampus Day, young men dress up in costume and roam the streets in chains, jangling loud, rusty bells, waving willow branches, and frightening children into good behavior before the arrival of St. Nicholas.

So move over, Mr. Scrooge: there’s another ghostly tale in town for Christmas.

For the naughty one in your life.

Hahahahaha! Awesome.
